One PDF file — rotates every page
Turn PDF pages the right way up and save the change into a new file. Rotation is applied with pdf-lib in your browser — it sets each page's orientation flag rather than re-drawing the artwork, so the text stays sharp and selectable and there's no quality loss. Nothing is uploaded.
Which angle, and rotating only some pages
- 90° turns a page a quarter-turn clockwise; 270° goes a quarter-turn the other way; 180° flips an upside-down page.
- If the first choice goes the wrong direction, the opposite angle fixes it.
- Select only the pages that are wrong — e.g. just the landscape scans in a portrait document — and leave the rest untouched. Each page rotates independently.
- The new orientation is saved into the PDF itself, so every viewer (Acrobat, browser, phone) shows the pages upright.
Frequently asked questions
- Does rotating re-encode the page and lose quality?
- No. Rotation changes the page's orientation value rather than redrawing pixels, so vector text and images stay exactly as sharp as they were.
- Is the PDF uploaded to a server?
- No. The rotation is done in your browser with pdf-lib, so the file is read and rewritten locally and never sent anywhere.
